Top Three Bathroom Window Treatments
A bathroom window can be a difficult environment for window treatments. It is great to have access to sunlight and to be able to open a window and release some of the trapped humidity. However, on the other hand, the window can allow prying eyes a view into one of your most private spaces. A window covering is the natural solution to this problem, but finding one that looks nice and can stand up to such a moisture-rich environment can present its own set of challenges. Luckily for you, the experts at North County Blind Company Inc. have compiled this list of three window treatments that are perfect for your bathroom.
Your bathroom is a moisture-rich environment, and these poly shutters are specially designed to withstand heat and humidity. The unique Polysatin™ compound is water-resistant, which means you can even install Palm Beach™ shutters in windows inside a shower. Shutters are also well suited for the often tiny and sometimes oddly shaped windows that are popular in bathrooms. They can be custom-fit to any shape, including arches, circles, and octagons. Palm Beach™ Polysatin™ shutters are also available with PowerView® automation. With this system, you can install the shutters in hard-to-reach windows and operate them via remote.
If you enjoy the rich warmth of natural wood, then these Venetian blinds are an excellent choice for you. You can choose from over a dozen different color options, including natural-looking wood grain stains. Everwood® blinds provide more privacy and light control options than shutters while being similarly durable. Even in your humid bathroom, these blinds are guaranteed not to fade, yellow, warp, or bow.
A fabric window treatment might seem like an odd choice for a bathroom, but Duette® Honeycomb shades provide a lot of benefits. First, the fabric selection includes several more moisture-resistant options that will work well in this space, although this window treatment still isn’t recommended for the inside of the shower. Second, these shades are available with the Duolite® feature allowing you to combine a light filtering and a room darkening shade for the perfect amount of light control. Duette® Honeycomb shades can also be equipped with top-down/bottom-up operation, which allows you to control light and privacy in new ways.
